How we ended up in a Home Business

How did we get here?

Lets go back a bit - Steve started working back in the Mining Industry when our second son, Caelan was only 3 days old. So saying farewell to Brooklen who was 16 months at the time, and to me, Steve headed off back underground. So why does anyone go back to Mining - the money. Its the only reason why someone would want to work nearly 1km underground in a dark dusty hole all day long for 12 hours a day, 14 days straight!!

The money. We had now traded our lifestyle for the money. That was it. No turning back.

The boys and I got to see Steve every two weeks, where he would get to spend a total of five days home because you lost a day travelling either way.

Fast forward another 5 years, things have changed, my mum has passed away, I've had baby boy number three - Keenan and life is no better. Yeah, Steve's on a 6 figure income now as he has worked his way up the ladder, but what goods the money when you don't have the time to enjoy it, and you are living from pay to pay wondering if there is something better out there for you!

That's it - I started my mission. I had absolutely had enough of being a single mum for two week stints. I had to find something that I could do to earn enough money to get Steve home and out of the Mining Industry for good, and to find something that I felt proud of, and something with a proven track record of a successful system.

So January 2008 - it found me. I was back on eBay, which I had always worked on and off selling stuff. I was searching for a solution to finding the best product that was going to solve all my problems! Not likely. The funny thing is, I signed up to be a part of a program to help me become a successful seller on eBay - and within that program, this guy had a link to a high yielding system that showed the amazing lifestyle of this wonderful couple who seemed to have it all! I WANTED THAT LIFE. More so, I just wanted to have a normal family with Steve at home for our kids. So I filled in one of those opt in boxes that we all see on pages where people want your details... and I had no idea what it was going to be about - but heck what did I have to lose??

I had a lot actually. My future, the future of our kids not having a father in their lives regularly. Never having the time freedom to do what we want when we wanted. My life, was looking rather miserable if it kept going the way it was. Mum was gone, Steve was mostly gone, my poor Dad was so lonely that my heart had a double dose of loss, his and mine!

This was not living. This was merely existing and going through the grind. I had a lot to lose by not doing something about my life and changing it from the way it currently was.

So guess what ? I decided that I was going to do something about it!!!

Poverty conscious. That's what we were. No money - though we were on good money.
But, I had the desire to change, and no matter what was put in front of me - I was going to be a success, and I was going to make THAT CHANGE.

I got started after a brief interview with a cool dude from the USA .... He challenged me to see what I had to bring to the table and if I had what it took to succeed. You bet ya.

That's how it all started. We now have our own home business. We have been to Hawaii with the company, and looking to go to the Bahamas and Acapulco shortly too.

Wow, what a life, we get to work and travel around the world - with our kids too.
But the best part about it, is we teach others how they can have the same success as us. How they can choose to change the miserable 9-5 existence they are trapped in!

This is the most rewarding, life changing, personal growth decision I have ever made.

Our life has now only just begun!
